Fall Detection / Alert
The fall detector is a wrist-mounted device the size of a smart watch which provides both manual and automatic alerts. A push button can be used to raise a manual alert to our Carephone system. In the event of a heavy fall an automatic alert can also be raised.
The fall detector begins a 20 second analysis upon initial detection of a possible fall, and then vibrates and flashes for another 20 seconds. At any point during this period the call can be cancelled either by standing up, or by covering the face of the detector with a hand for two seconds. This minimizes the occurrence of false alerts.
The fall detector is rated IP67, that is, it is waterproof.
